Odoo Category Custom Options is an Odoo extension for category level custom options. Admins set them up once and apply them to every product in that category.
Admins create an internal category and add products to it. They add custom options to the category once, and every product placed in it picks up the same options automatically.
Each custom option field supports several custom option input types, such as Dropdown or File. A price can be set on each attribute value.
The module depends on the Odoo Product Custom Options module. That module must be installed first for it to work.

Why Do We Need Odoo Category Custom Options?
Odoo Product Custom Options manages custom fields per product. A catalog with many similar products still needs the same options set up one product at a time.
For example, A desktop store selling several brands would add RAM, SSD Disk, and Operating System options one by one for every model. That wastes setup time and creates mismatched setups.
Odoo Category Custom Options moves that setup to the category. Admins create the options once, add products to the category, and every product in it picks them up automatically.
Custom options added to a category apply to every product assigned to it. The option values never need their own stock record. A per-product setup cannot avoid that extra work.

Category Custom Option Creation
Admins create custom options directly on a product category screen, under the Product Categories list in the Sale module.
- Open Product Categories and click create to add a new category.
- Add custom options to the category form before assigning products.
- Choose a Text, Date, Radio, Dropdown, Checkboxes, or File input for each option.
- Set attribute values for the option.
- Save the category once its options are configured.
Assign a Category to a Product
Adding a category to a product applies that category's custom options. No extra setup is needed on the product itself.
- Open a product and assign it to the configured category.

File Upload Custom Options
