    PrestaShop Marketplace Seller Buyer Chat - This module comes with an amazing functionality by which the seller and buyer can have a direct communication . The buyer and the marketplace seller can chat with each other conveniently. The chat option is available on the product detail page, under the seller detail column.

    NOTE

      • This module is an add-on to a marketplace module. To use this module, you must install PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.
      • PrestaShop Marketplace Seller Buyer Chat module is MultiShop Compatible with PrestaShop Advanced Multi-Vendor Marketplace version 5.4.0/3.4.0 and above.

    PrestaShop Marketplace Seller Buyer Chat Features -

    • Buyer can initiate chat with any seller, whether the seller is online or offline on the product page.
    • Buyer do not need to login to initiate chat with seller.Buyer can start the chat just using his email id.
    • Seller can respond to many buyers simultaneously.
    • If the seller is offline, then buyer can send the message and all the messages can be seen the next time when seller is online.
    • The chat option available on product detail page shows if the seller is online or not. If it shows a green sign, then seller is online.
    • Seller can respond to the chat messages when the buyer is online.
    • Both buyers and sellers can send attachments to each other from the chat window.
    • An easy side menu is available to see the chat list for the seller.
    • Seller can retrieve all the chat messages sent to him while he was offline.Seller can see the chat history.
    • Admin has the option to allow sellers to delete chat history.
    • Admin chooses whether sellers can see their chat history and customer list or not.
    • Admin can change the chat window title background colour, chat message notification logo and the notification ringtone.
    • Admin can view or delete chats between sellers and buyers.
    • Now buyer and seller can have direct communication.
    • Multiple chat can be done at a single time by the seller.

     Can the sellers to add attachment into the chat like pdf etc?
    Yes, both buyers and sellers can send attachments to each other from the chat window.
     
     Is it possible to initiate multiple chats with multiple sellers of the shop at a single time?
    The answer to this question is “Yes”.
     
      Is it possible for seller to answer to a customer when he/she is outline ? Does the seller has to wait the customer is back online ?
    The seller cannot answer to a customer if he/she is offline.
    Yes, the seller will have to wait for the customer to come online.
     
     Can customer send message to seller, if seller is offline?
    If the seller is offline, then the buyer can send the message and all the messages can be seen the next time when a seller is online.
     
      Is there another way for sellers and buyers to communicate on the marketplace, other than online chat ? Like an inbox mail maybe ?
    Well apart from this, the customers can directly send email to the sellers from the contact seller option in the seller shop page in advanced marketplace.
