Description
OpenCart Marketplace Seller Sub Account: Using Opencart Marketplace Sub Seller Module, the seller can create their sub-accounts with the specific permissions. The sub-account user can also log in as a customer with its own credentials and work for the seller as per the given permissions. The sub-account user can manage products, orders, and all the menu options on behalf of the seller.
Important Note -
- This extension is an add-on to the marketplace module, you must first install the Webkul OpenCart Marketplace to use the Seller Sub Account module.
- This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.
- Opencart Marketplace Vendor Sub Account module supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.

The admin can set the limit of sub sellers from the admin backend.

Sent email to set sub-seller account
An email gets generated contains a login link when the seller creates an account for the sub-seller.
A separate account for Sub-seller
After login, the sub-seller can manage and view products, orders, etc depends on permission given by the seller.
Sub Seller Personal Details
After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will configure the module for use by -
- Enabling or Disabling the extension for use.
- Selecting the Store for which you want to create the sub-account.
- Set the limit of sub-sellers that the sellers will be able to add.
- Choose the permissions that you want to provide the sellers which can then be assigned to the sub-sellers.
- Admin can set the mail be sent when a sub-seller is created.
- Lastly, save the configuration by clicking the Save button.
Manage Sub-Seller Accounts
Under this section, the seller will find all the created sub-user accounts if any and can create an unlimited number of sub-seller accounts with various different permissions as required. To Create a sub-seller account tap the add button which brings up the section to create a new-seller sub-account. Here, the seller will enter the required details for creating a sub-seller account that includes -
- First and Last name
- Email Address
- Telephone Number
- Permissions
- Address
- Password
Sub Seller Account with Permission
As the seller had provided access permission for – My Profile, Dashboard, and Order History the same is being reflected in the sub-users account panel.
- The sub-user can now access with full control the seller’s My Profile, Dashboard, and the Order History in place of the seller in a separate account.
- The seller can easily assign specific roles to the sub-seller by assigning certain permission to them.
- The seller can manage the sub-seller profile and edit the permission as required from the seller panel.
Sub Sellers Account Handling by Admin
The admin can find a complete list of all the marketplace sub-sellers listed under the Marketplace->Sub-Seller list.
- The admin can also add/delete sub-seller/user accounts for the marketplace sellers.
- The admin can set the number of sub-seller that sellers can create.
- The admin can also create the account of the sub-sellers on behalf of sellers.
- The admin can define the permission that will be available for sellers.
