Customer Sub Account for Magento 2: With the Magento 2 customer sub-account extension, the customer can create multiple sub-account users for managing the work by allowing them some permissions. The main account user can either provide all eh permissions or some selected one too. The main account user can only provide those permissions that are provided by the store admin.

There are many permissions like placing orders, managing orders, accessing wishlist, creating sub-accounts, etc. The sub-account users will help in a big graph to manage the main-account user’s responsibility like placing orders, managing the cart approval and merge requests, etc. The store owner will set various email templates for the order-related notifications.

Create New Sub Account Users

Access the Main account Orders

The sub-account user can have access to view the main account orders.

  • The sub-account user can also check the status of the order.
  • Order status can be either Pending or Approve.

Access the Sub-Account Orders

The sub-account user can have access to view the sub-account orders.

  • The sub-account user can view the main account order list (list of orders placed by all the sub-account users).
  • Simply the sub-account user can check the order details.
  • The order ID will also be visible for each order.
  • The sub-account user can also check the price, status of the order.
  • Order status can be either Pending or Approve.

Access Main Account’s Wishlist

The sub-account can have permission to access the wishlist of the main account user.

  • The deletion of the product is also permitted.
  • The sub-account users will be able to manage to check the wishlist and add those products to the cart.

Cart Appearance Before Checkout

The sub-account user can also place the order for the main account user.

  • They will add the product to the cart with the desired quantity.
  • If configurable products are selected then the size and color should be mentioned too.
  • At the cart page, there are buttons available for cart approval and merge.
  • The sub-account user is required to send any of the requests among cart approval or merge.
  • The checkout will be done only after the request approval.
