The Squarespace channel connects with a Developer API key created in Squarespace under Settings > Advanced > Developer API Keys.

After a successful test, the channel moves to the Validate state and shows a Connected ribbon on the channel form.

• Give the key the Products, Inventory, Orders, and Profiles access your team needs.
• Paste the key in the API Key field on the Credentials tab.
• Click Test Connection to check the key against the Squarespace API.
• A failed test sets the channel to Error and shows the reason.
• The API Key field locks while the channel is in the Validate state.

The Import Wizard brings Squarespace products into Odoo as product feeds first, then turns them into products with variants.

• Choose the Product Filter: All, Product IDs, or Date Range.
• Enter comma-separated Product IDs to import only those products.
• Use From Date and To Date to import products modified in that window.
• Import name, description, SKU, base price, stock quantity, and the first image.
• Create variants from Squarespace variant attributes.
• Set Physical products as goods and Service products as services.

Squarespace customer profiles and orders import through the same Import Wizard, and each object shows its own filter options.

Orders arrive with billing and shipping addresses, so Odoo can invoice and ship them without retyping. For orders from other sales channels in a spreadsheet, see our Odoo Multichannel CSV Connector.

• Filter customers by Customer IDs or modified dates, or import all of them.
• Filter orders by Order IDs, created dates, Order State, or import all.
• Pick the Order State: Pending, Fulfilled, or Canceled.
• Bring in order lines with SKU and variant, plus discount and shipping lines.
• Apply the Squarespace tax total as a tax rate, inclusive or exclusive.
• Keep the order currency, promo code, shipping method, and tracking number.

The Export Wizard creates Odoo products in Squarespace, or updates Squarespace products that already have a mapping in Odoo.

Shopware sellers get the same Odoo catalog workflow with our Odoo Shopware Connector, which also syncs categories.

• Choose Export for new products or Update for mapped products.
• Send name, sales description, product type, variants, and attributes.
• Take the price from the channel pricelist and the stock from Odoo.
• Use the Odoo internal reference as SKU, or an Odoo-ID fallback.
• Upload the main product image and add the product to the store page.
• Read the store currency from the Squarespace site settings.

Order State Mapping sets what Odoo does with each Squarespace order status when an order is imported.

• Pending orders import as Quotations, the default state.
• Fulfilled orders import as Sale Orders.
• Fulfilled orders can also create an invoice, post it, and create the shipment.
• Canceled orders import as Cancelled.
• Change the Create Invoice, Set Invoice State, and Create Shipment options per row.

Odoo sends stock and shipment changes to Squarespace as they happen, so nobody has to run an export by hand.

Both options are channel settings, so each connected Squarespace store decides what Odoo pushes back to it.

• Enable Auto Stock to update the Squarespace variant quantity on each stock move.
• Pick the Stock Action: Quantity on hand, Free Quantity, or Forecast Quantity.
• Set the Fulfilment Warehouse, Location, and extra Stock Warehouses to count.
• Enable Shipment Status to send carrier and tracking number on delivery validation.
• Squarespace then notifies the customer about the shipment.

The Crons tab schedules automatic imports, so new Squarespace orders, products, and customers reach Odoo without opening the wizard.

• Enable Order Cron to import orders updated after a set date.
• Enable Product Cron to import products updated after a set date.
• Enable Customer Cron to import customers updated after a set date.
• Each run moves the updated-after date to the last record imported.
• Open Configuration to set how often each cron runs.
