Laravel eCommerce DHL Shipping module allows the admin to use DHL shipping services for the shipment of products. This module calculates the shipping rates based on DHL API for product shipping.
This shipping method is the most trusted shipping method in terms of cost, and product delivery and now it is available with the Bagisto. The admin can set the shipping method name and can even select the countries in which the shipment of products is available.

The DHL eCommerce generally ships international shipments. Your parcel is transported by DHL eCommerce to your local post office for customs processing (if needed) and delivery.

Add Origin Address
After installing the module, the admin can enable/disable the module from his dashboard.

- [feature] Compatible with Bagisto v2.4.10.
- [Fixed] The shipment weight sent to DHL was multiplied by the quantity twice, because a Bagisto shipment item already stores the weight of the whole line. Quotes and waybills were overstated for every multi-quantity shipment.
- [Fixed] Auto-created shipments were booked with DHL from inside the shipment repository's database transaction, holding order, stock and shipment locks for the length of the remote call.
- [Fixed] The customer street was sent to DHL as a single line, newlines included. It is now split across the two DHL address lines.
- [Fixed] The declared value of a cart was quoted in the base currency but labelled with the cart currency.
- [Fixed] A DHL shipment can no longer be recorded twice against the same Bagisto shipment.
- [Fixed] Two bookings running at once, the automatic one alongside an admin pressing the button, each asked DHL for a waybill and then raced to record it. A booking now holds a lock on the shipment, so the second waits and finds the first one's booking.
- [Fixed] An automatic booking that failed after the shipment had been committed took the request down with it, rather than being logged and left alone.
- [Fixed] The customs value declared to DHL was the order's grand total, so a partial shipment over declared the goods in it and every shipment declared the shipping and the tax as well. It is now the value of the lines actually in the parcel, which is also what the export declaration beside it lists.
- [Fixed] The customs declaration numbered its lines from the position of the order item rather than from one, so a skipped item left DHL with a gap.
- [Fixed] The label and the commercial invoice were kept a second time, base64 encoded, inside the shipment record's raw response, adding hundreds of kilobytes and a second copy of the recipient's address to every row. Only their metadata is stored now.
- [Fixed] The file name a label or invoice is offered under carries the tracking number DHL returned, and was placed into the content disposition header unescaped.
- [Optimized] Checkout quotes are cached with Cache::flexible. Bagisto collects the rates again on every cart total and once more when the customer picks a method, so the same quote was asked of DHL several times over a single checkout. A quote that came back empty is never cached, so an outage is retried on the next call.
- [Optimized] Both the rating and the shipping calls now set a connection timeout, so an unreachable DHL host fails fast instead of holding the checkout open.
- [Optimized] The message reference sent to DHL is built from a time ordered uuid rather than uniqid, which could repeat for two calls made in the same microsecond.
- [Optimized] Dates are built with Carbon instead of raw DateTimeImmutable and gmdate, which also makes the planned shipping date freezable in tests.
- [Optimized] The tracking url is built with Laravel's Uri, so a tracking number is escaped correctly.
- [Optimized] The package's views are written with Tailwind utilities instead of custom CSS component classes, so its bundle now carries only the utilities those views use.
- [Optimized] Rate and shipment failures are logged instead of being swallowed, and a document that cannot be written no longer loses the waybill DHL already issued.
