IndexNow Configuration – Magento 2
This screen allows you to manage the settings for the IndexNow module, which helps submit updated URLs to search engines when selected page types are changed.
- Enabled: Turn the feature on or off as needed.
- IndexNow API Key: Enter your key to connect with supported search engines. The key must have 8–128 characters and can include letters, numbers, and dashes.
- Select Entity Types: Choose the page types for automatic URL submission: CMS Page, Product, Category. Changes to these types will trigger URL submission automatically.
Indexed URLs – Magento 2 IndexNow
This section shows all URLs submitted through the IndexNow module. Each entry includes the page link, submission status, response message, and timestamp. Admins can manually resubmit any URL or add a new one as needed.
- Displays a list of submitted URLs with status and response.
- Shows the exact time each URL was sent.
- Provides a Resubmit option for each entry.
- Add New URL button allows manual submission of custom URLs.
Add New URL – Magento 2 IndexNow
Admin manually submits a specific URL from the same Magento site to search engines using the IndexNow module. It's useful for handling updates that need to be sent right away.
- URL Field: Enter a valid URL from the current website. External URLs are not accepted.
- Submit URL Button: Sends the entered URL for indexing through IndexNow.
- Use this option to handle pages that were updated manually or outside the usual workflow.
