Magento 2 Marketplace Vendor Category: This will allow extending the functionality of default Magento. With the help of this plugin, the layered navigation of seller collection page will show the seller categories exclusively.
The admin can create the categories which can be assigned to the seller. The sellers, on the other hand, can even create categories for themselves. They will manage the categories created by admin and seller.
This functionality will allow the creation of much-prized categories which will be as per seller. The customer can now filter the products as specified by the seller.
Please Note - This is a marketplace add-on, so you need to install Webkul Magento 2 Multi-Vendor Module first.

Why use the Magento 2 Marketplace Vendor Category?
The seller categories on the seller profile are one of the major components to attract the customer. The sellers can now create a category specific to the products in their respective stores. This will allow the customer to easily look for a particular product being sold by the seller.
This type of functionality is highly helpful where the marketplace structure is massive. Where there are multiple seller dealing with many products. In such cases, the seller categories can be highly helpful to optimize the product search process for the customer.
Duplication of the seller categories is avoided as now the categories are unique to the seller that is, a category created for a seller is allocated specifically to that seller only. Moreover, it would be exclusively visible on that seller's profile page.

The admin or marketplace owner can configure the module to give the seller the facility of managing the seller categories. The categories can help the seller to showcase their product in a better way. Thus the admin can -
- Allow the seller to manage the seller categories.
- Allocate specific name to the Seller navigation.
- Create categories on behalf of the seller. Assign the categories to the seller.
Thus, allowing the seller category functionality on the store.

The seller can manage the seller categories as per their product. This will give the seller the functionality of easily display their products. The seller categories will be displayed in the collection page of the seller profile.

- The seller can link them in bulk or selectively.
