Odoo POS User/Manager Validation allows you to perform authentication for numerous actions like adding quantity, removing order lines, adding discounts, closing POS, etc. The Odoo app adds a pin approval system for a manager to authorize actions.
Further, if the user is not authorized to act, they can request the manager to enter their credentials or PIN. Additionally, the module sends a mail to the owner on PIN regeneration or the wrong password. You can generate a PIN to access the actions that are configured under validation.

Setting up Manager Validation In Odoo POS
- The Odoo app adds manager validation on several Odoo POS actions.
- You can enable the desired action on which you require authentication.
Add PIN for Verification
- The module generates a 4-digit PIN code for validating actions for every POS.
- The Odoo admin can re-generate a pin as required from the POS settings.
Enhance the Security of Odoo POS
- The module adds a layer of security to the POS, enhancing safety and transparency.
- The Odoo app sends an email on entering the wrong PIN or PIN regeneration.
Record Action Authenticator Details
- It records every validation action performed by managers in the Odoo backend.

- The Odoo app creates an audit trail for all authentication performed by managers (if there are multiple managers) to make the process transparent.
Manager’s Action Accountability
- Every record in the backend ties the action with the corresponding POS Manager.

- You can update a unique PIN if you forget or lose the old one.
