 Module Configuration

After the successful installation of the module, the admin configures the bulk order processing by enabling or disabling the module. Thereafter under Bulk Order Processing tab, the order list opens up

  • From there the admin can change the order status of the orders, selecting them in bulk or individually.
  • Can add tracking numbers to the multiple orders at a time or can add tracking numbers of an order directly.
  • The admin can create invoices for multiple orders at the same time.

The admin can easily change the order status of the orders. For this the admin just needs to tick on the checkboxes of the desired orders then by selecting “Change order status option”, the admin can:-

  • Change order status of the selected orders.
  • Notify the customers directly.
  • Can comment on the order status

Also, the admin can change the order status for the selected orders through the order list page.

From here, the admin can add the order shipment tracking numbers to the orders. For this, the admin can select the specific orders & click on the “Add Order Tracking” tab to add a tracking number.

  • A pop-up appears where the tracking number can be added for the selected orders.
  • Also, the admin can add the tracking number of an order directly in the Order List page.

 What happens if invoice request for already generated invoice has been placed by the admin?
In this case, a warning message will appear, notifying that invoice has been already generated for the selected orders. This feature helps the admin to differentiate b/w the orders whom invoices have been created before.
 
 Can the order status be changed from the order list page?
Yes, the order status can be easily changed from the order list page. For this, the admin needs to select the desired order and the status from under Status option.
 
 Do the customers get notified when their order status changes?
Yes, the admin can notify the customers regarding their changed order status by just selecting the “Notify to customers” option.
 
 Is there any order limit to select the bulk orders to be processed?
No, the admin can select specific as well as can pick all orders to be processed at a time.
 
 Is it possible to add tracking numbers for multiple orders at a time?
For this, you have to select the desired orders and then select the “Add order tracking option”. Then from there, the admin can quickly enter the tracking number against the selected orders.
 
 Do the customers get a notification when the admin generates the invoice for the order?
Yes, with the help of this extension customers get an email regarding the invoice generation. This functionality doesn’t exist in the default opencart.
