Opencart Multi Vendor PayPal Commerce: This extension facilitates the admin of a store to integrate PayPal Payment Method for their customers. This module incorporates the Instant and Delayed disbursement modes (also known as PayPal Commerce). Even the sellers can integrate PayPal for their customers only after authenticating with PayPal.
This extension allows the branded checkout process which means the customer will be redirected to the PayPal page for the payment process. This extension also allows the customer to checkout with multiple seller products at the same time.
Note -
- This is a marketplace add-on, so you need to install Webkul's Opencart Multi Vendor Marketplace first.
- By Adding the country and PayPal merchant ID the seller can connect to PayPal on their dashboard. Moreover, to access PayPal services, the seller must authenticate with PayPal at first.

Payment Method General Attribute
To set up the payment method the admin of the store needs to enter basic details and information.
- The admin can select the store for which this module will work.
- The admin needs to provide a PayPal Partner image which can also be changed or deleted.
- Set the status of the module as Enable to use the module functionality, else Disable.
- Enter the required title for the payment method that will be visible at the time of checkout.
- Set the checkout total of the order. Using this the checkout total of a customer order must reach the specified amount to make the payment method active
Instant & Delayed Payment Modes
This module supports Instant and Delayed payments that are PayPal Commerce.
- There are two selective disbursement modes: instant and delayed.
- Using the instant mode the store owner doesn't have to manually transfer payment to the seller, rather it is transferred on itself as soon as the customer makes a purchase.
- Delayed payment mode on the other hand can be used by the admin where the admin wants to release the fund to the seller after some time.
- The store admin can set the environment as sandbox/test or production/live as per requirement.
- Attribution ID provides the tracking on all transactions that originate or are associated with a particular partner.
- The store owner needs to provide the Merchant ID, PayPal account email, Client ID, and the Secret Key.
Checkout Using PayPal
To complete the payment module currently supports branded checkout type.
- Using the branded checkout type the customer is redirected directly to PayPal to process the payment.
- The branded payment is also called the Smart payment button.
- Provide your customers to pay for their orders using a smooth payment method option.
- Credit card information is in safe hands and PayPal ensures that no hacker tries to misuse the buyer’s critical information.
- Using the one-touch feature of PayPal login, customers don’t have to enter the details every time they make a payment.
Simplify Product Returns
To initiate a refund for their orders the customer can easily avail a product return from the placed orders.
- The customers need to fill in the basic details only after requesting a return.
- The product name, order ID, and product code are automatically filled thus saving the customers time.
- Product state and the reason for refund need to be selected by the customer.
- To process the return the admin can enter the return status as complete.
- The Payment status shows the stage of the refund in the admin, seller, and customer panel as well.
