Shopware 6 Follow Category: Follow category is a feature to the customer to follow the categories according to their choice. The customer can follow or unfollow the categories and sub-categories. The customer can make their list of following categories and can go to the category in a single click.
When a customer follows a “Category”, then he will get daily updates about the products in a category like an email notification for a “New product added” to followed categories. The email notification will consist of the product page link for the updated product that will help in increasing the sale and revenue of your online store.

Category Followers
In this admin check the followed category name and the number of the follower of that category. Admin can see the following on the category follower page.

Customers Following
In this admin can see all the details of the customer following the category. There will be a list of all the customers following the category. The following customer details will be shown on that page.
- The admin can see the category name.

Email Template
This admin can send default mail to the customer for a new product added in the followed category with the product name, price, and link. Admin can click on the checkbox of the Email template can add a new description for mail.
- The admin can send the email regarding a new product.
- The admin can write the subject of Email.
- The admin can also change the default email template.
- The customers will receive the mail notification of the newly added product name, price, and product link.
Customer Frontend
The customer can easily follow or unfollow the categories. For this, the customer has two lists: “Followed Categories” and “Unfollowed Categories” in their account. Guest users will not able to follow the category.
- To follow a category, the customer can select any category from the “Unfollowed Categories” list.
- Similarly, to unfollow a category, the customer can select any category from the “followed Categories” list.
- Also, the customer will view the followed categories either in the grid view or the list view.
- It will depend on the admin selection from their configuration.
