CS-Cart Vendor Subdomain module drives more traffic to your store. It gives vendors a dedicated space with their own domain or subdomain. Customers can go directly to a vendor’s subdomain to view and buy products. They do not need to navigate the main marketplace.
The module works with the default CS-Cart Vendor Plans add-on. Vendors can create a subdomain or domain from their panel according to their selected plan.
Important Notes:
- Make sure the Vendor Plans and SEO add-ons are installed and active.
- To set up subdomains, create a wildcard A-record on your domain and map it to your root directory.
Example: If your domain is example.com, enabling wildcard subdomains (*.example.com) allows unlimited subdomains. Only subdomains registered by vendors will be active.

Highlighted Features
Vendor’s Subdomain Access
Customers can directly access the vendor's subdomain or domain to purchase the vendor's products as the vendor has their subdomains.
Separate Domain or Subdomain
In this module, the admin can assign a domain or subdomain for the vendors and they can showcase their product on a separate page.
Display Product Page
The vendor can allow domain or subdomain for showing only the products.
Vendor Panel
From this panel, the customer can directly purchase the product from the subdomain URL set by the vendor.
Restrict Vendor Permissions
The admin can allow additional page (cart page, checkout, wishlist, comparison list) permission to any specific seller. To show specific pages to the customers.
Edit Subdomain
The admin and vendor both can edit the sub-domain prefix from their respective panel.

- Vendors can choose their preferred subdomain directly from their profile.

- Admin can review and approve the chosen subdomain before it goes live.

- Admin can set SEO for each vendor profile page.

Does this addon work well with third party themes?
We provide the addon compatible with any one of the third party themes you desire for free. But if you need it compatible with more than one third party theme then it will be a part of customization.
Does the extension code encoded/encrypted or can we customize it?
The code is fully open & you can customize it according to your need.
How do we make sub-domains?
To configure sub-domains you need to make an entry of A-record on your domain using your hosting control panel.
Can we delete a seller sub-domain?
Yes if the seller un-sets its subdomain the sub-domain will not be set. An Admin can delete the subdomain.
Can we rename a Seller Subdomain?
Yes, the seller can set/unset/rename its sub-domain as per his/her need, but we suggest not to as the URL will be changed.
Will CS-Cart Login work on all sub-domains?
This add-on allows the user to logs in from any of the vendor subdomains that he visits.
