What is Bulk Quantity Discount and how it works?
Joomla Virtuemart Bulk Quantity Discount allow site admin to set discount on quantities purchased for example discount of 1$ if a buyer purchased between 2 to 4 quantity and discount of 2$ if buyer purchase more than 4 quantity. Admin needs to add conditions to the product, admin can set a different condition for different products.Admin assigns 'Bulk Quantity Discount' custom field to product and then can create conditions.
Can we show conditions to a buyer so that they can decide how much quantity to buy?
Yes, Admin can enable option 'show info' and 'show dropdown' from plugin configuration.
Why do the products not show selected quantity discount on cart or invoice?
This is probably because you do not enable 'cart attribute' option in the plugin configuration.
Why add condition button not working in product custom fields setting?
Admin needs to save product before creating any condition.
Why some conditions ignored on the products?
Invalid conditions are ignored. For example minimum=0, maximum=0 and discount =1 this is not a valid condition as no minimum and maximum quantity set.
We need to set discount for over certain quantity what can we do?
For discount over a certain quantity. You need to set condition as minimum>0, maximum=0 and discount>0. Which means all quantities greater than minimum set, having a discount as a set.
We need to set call for the price after certain quantity what can we do?
For the call for price button, you need to set condition as minimum>0, maximum=0 and discount=0. Which means all quantities greater than minimum set, do not assign any discount and call for price button will display.
