Custom Order Prefix for Magento 2: Whenever, the admin needs to do the modification with the default order IDs, Shipment IDs, Invoice IDs, Credit Memo IDs, or all of them, then this module will help them to do so. This module gives the privilege to the admin to add the prefix to the IDs of placed orders, Invoices, Shipments, and the credit memo.

What is the use of this module and why should I use it?
Custom Order Prefix for Magento 2 is one such module that can enable you to customize Magento's default Order IDs into a format that's more meaningful to you. As default functionality of Magento does not allow the admin to edit or change the IDs. It becomes tedious and difficult to search and filter the data using the numbers.
But, with the help of this module, the admin can modify and insert any prefix containing any recognizable letter or word. The admin can set any specific formats for various documents ID such as invoices IN, credit memo CM, etc.
Add Custom Prefixes
This admin can set the custom prefixes to the default IDs of Magento. If the admin does not want to set a prefix, then they have to keep it null or blank. This module gives privilege to the custom prefix to:

Customer view

- As soon as the admin creates the shipment, the same shipment ID will get displayed at the customer end.
- The same is the case for invoices and credit memos.
