Odoo Keep Initial Address For Delivery - Expand your website by letting customers speak their mind!!
At odoo end, If the address of any customer is updated then it is changed in all the orders/deliveries generated previously for that customer. It is a huge issue in Odoo as it could lead to a lot of confusion and false reporting too.
In this case, if a customer requests for his previous order's delivery receipt then the generated delivery receipt will contain the customer's updated address. In order to solve this issue, we have introduced our module "Odoo Keep initial address for delivery" which provides the feature to keep the initial or original delivery address inside delivery generated for this customer earlier in Odoo.
Odoo Keep Initial Address For Delivery Features
Store the delivery address of customers used in Order
- The module enables you to add an additional field ‘Initial Address’ in the transfers sub-menu of an order to store the delivery address used in the order.
- The admin can select multiple orders from the same customer and bulk update the initial delivery address.
Automatically updates the delivery address of customers if changed
- Facilitates generation of picking slips with the original delivery address used at the time placing the order.
- Eliminates the need to manually add the delivery address of the customer in case he updates it.
