Magento 2 AI OCR Configuration
After installing Magento 2 AI OCR Configuration, admin has to configure the module by navigating to the configuration section.
- Admin will configure the general settings.
- First of all, set the module status to either Yes or No.
- Enter the address status to assign when creating orders to save the address in the address book.
- Set order status for creating orders as either complete or new.
- Enter your Point API path.
Updating Extracted Data
The admin can make changes to the extracted data if needed like customer details from a PDF invoice PDF that has been uploaded.
- Admin can easily find the details in the preview and check the details for verification.
- If there is any wrong data found, the admin can easily make them correct before saving the order.
- After modification of the extracted data admin can save the order.
AI OCR Order List
Admin can see the order list of all the orders that have been created for both existing and non-existing products by using AI OCR(Optical Character Recognition).
- Admin can find the details such as ID, Order ID, Order Status, and uploaded documents.
- In the order status section, you will find either new or complete status.
- On the AI OCR order list page, you can also create a new order.
Order Details Page with Product
Once the order has been created with the Order ID and you click on the OK button it will redirected to you on the order detail page.
- On the order detail page, admin will get the entire order details such as customer information, shipping and billing details product information, and many more.
- If the order has been created for a non-existing product the SKU of the product will same as the SKU of the default product.
- As you can see in the image SKU has been updated with the product.
Customer Table
As soon as the orders get created by using this text recognition converter a table will be created in the customer address with all the updated information.
- Admin can check the updated customer details by navigating customer section.
- The information such as customer name, address, phone number, etc.
- Admin can also change or update the customer information, by clicking the action button.
