The updated quantity will show on the product page or in the product details. Also, the admin can update the product quantity N number of times based on store requirements.
It can be updated as zero as well to show the product is out of stock. The inventory will update accordingly when a customer purchases the product. Note: To use the Magento 2 Barcode extension module, the admin needs a barcode scanner device to scan the barcodes.
