Hence, to improve the Odoo Hotel Management system, we created, Odoo Hotel POS Extension.
This Odoo app allows you to generate POS orders and invoices for room orders. Further, the module provides the option to ‘Add Room’ in POS that automatically selects the customer on choosing a room. The POS user must select the invoice option on the order validation page to compute it with the hotel room bill.
The Odoo app also has the option to print combined or individual bills for all hospitality and room bills, which customers need to clear at checkout.

Connect Hotel Management with Odoo POS
- The Odoo app connects Odoo POS with Odoo Hotel Management System.
- The module lets you generate invoices for room service bills.
Select Room to Link Service Order
- Select the room in the POS with the ‘Add Room’ button.
- Customers will be selected after adding the room so you can place the order.
Invoicing POS Order with Room Bill
- The Hotel POS order will be invoiced when a customer places the order with room service.
- Customers can pay the entire room and POS bill at checkout.
Computing Bill at Checkout
- The Hotel POS Extension can compute customer room and POS bills at checkout.
- You can generate isolated or combined bills according to customer or admin preference.
Placing an Order From Odoo POS
- It allows customers to place hospitality for POS orders.
- The Odoo admin can select the customer room for the order.
- Customers will be automatically selected after choosing the room in Odoo POS.
- The POS will automatically add the booking number to the room selection.
- After entering the order, you must select the invoice option on the validation page.
- The POS user can generate an invoice for every order and add them to the computed bill.
- All POS invoices will be cleared on customer checkout.
Computing the Hotel Bill
- The entire bill will be computed on customer checkout.
- Customers can pay the bill via their desired messages.
- You can print the combined hotel bill.
- Or you can print individual hotel bills while checking out.
- The printed bill will provide details of every generated invoice.
- It helps maintain records of all the bills and orders.
- The module eases the functioning of the Hotel management solution in Odoo.
