The WooCommerce POS Outlet Manager allows the WooCommerce POS System admin to add two types of users - POS Users and POS Outlet Managers. The admin can assign multiple POS outlet managers to a respective outlet as required. The POS outlet managers can add, edit, or delete any of the normal POS Users(agents) as per need.
Apart from that, the POS outlet managers can configure the POS terminal options for the POS users from the backend panel. The point of sale outlet managers can log in to the point of sale terminal. The point-of-sale outlet managers can also view the backend via the available option at the point-of-sale terminal. The admin can also set up the screen lock for the POS terminal.
The POS outlet manager and the POS users can configure the screen lock settings. They can configure the lock screen time and update the password if required. At the time of creating a POS user, the admin can choose whether it will be a normal POS user or the POS outlet manager.
Manage POS Users
The created POS outlet managers for the respective POS outlets can manage their POS users(agents).
Setup Screen Lock
The admin can enable the screen lock for the point of sale user and the point of sale outlet managers.
POS Login for POS Outlet Manager
The admin can enable or disable the POS login for the POS outlet manager.
Cart Transfer Option
A point-of-sale user can transfer his cart within the same outlet to another point-of-sale user or the point-of-sale outlet manager for further processing of the cart.
Screen Lock Timer
The point of sale users and the point of sale outlet managers can set the configuration for the screen lock timer and can update their passwords for the screen lock.
Cart Transfer Reports
The admin can view the complete list/report for the cart transfers in an outlet.
POS Outlet Manager Requests
All of the requests generated by the point-of-sale outlet managers are viewed by the admin in the backend panel.

- Enable point of sale login for the point of sale outlet manager.
- Set the lock screen status, its image, and the text background color.
- Add point-of-sale users and point-of-sale Outlet managers.
- View Cart transfer reports in the admin backend panel.
- Check the point-of-sale outlet manager-created requests.
Cart Transfer Option
Now, the cart transfer feature will allow the POS users to transfer a cart to another POS user or a point of sale outlet manager within the same outlet. Here, this feature allows the point of sale users and the point of sale outlet managers to -
- Transfer the cart to another point of sale user within the same outlet.
- Transfer the cart from a point-of-sale user to a point-of-sale outlet manager for further processing.
- Sync the carts that have been assigned to a point-of-sale user.
- Add the cart products to the cart for checkout.
- View the cart transfers done to a point-of-sale user.
Settings for POS Users by Outlet Manager
The point-of-sale outlet manager will be able to configure the options that are available on the side panel and in the cart for the point-of-sale users. Here, the point of sale outlet manager will be able to
- Enable or disable the cashier and reports option for the point of sale users.
- The sync cart option can be enabled or disabled.
- The transfer cart option can be enabled or disabled.
- Custom add product option can be enabled or disabled.
- The discount option can be enabled or disabled as required.
Screen Lock Settings
The point of sale users and point of sale outlet managers for their respective point of sale terminals can now have a point of sale terminal lock screen. This lock screen becomes active after a time period set by the point of sale users. This option is enabled by the admin from the plugin’s configuration settings. Here, the point of sale terminal users and the point of sale outlet manager for their point of sale terminals can -
- Set the screen lock timer in minutes as required.
- Update the lock screen pin when required.
- Disengage the screen lock by entering their lock screen pin
