CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours is a multi-vendor marketplace add-on that sets day-wise opening and closing times for every seller in the store.
Sellers pick an open time and a close time for all seven days. Current day and time then decide whether a store counts as open.
Closed stores get marked unavailable on the storefront, and shoppers read the availability message saved for the marketplace.
Admins choose the message text, such as Store Closed. Alongside it, shoppers see the next opening time taken from the weekly schedule.
Products of a closed seller stay visible. Shoppers browse the profile and the product pages, but add to cart and ordering stay blocked.
Additionally, if you want every seller to run a store on its own web address, then check CS-Cart Vendor Subdomain.

Highlighted Features of CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours
Day-Wise Business Hours
Sellers set a separate opening time and closing time for each of the seven days.
Automatic Availability
Current day and time drive the status, so nobody switches a store on or off by hand.
Store Closed Message
A message such as Store Closed appears on the storefront while a seller sits outside business hours.
Next Opening Time
Shoppers see when the store opens next, read from the weekly schedule of that seller.
Add To Cart Restriction
Cart and order actions stay blocked for products that belong to a closed seller.
Seller Schedule Panel
Sellers manage their own weekly hours, and admins review or change any marketplace vendor schedule.
Why Do We Need CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours?
A multi-vendor marketplace runs around the clock. Every seller store stays open, even a shop that only trades in fixed hours.
Shoppers then place orders nobody can pack. Next morning the seller finds the order, and your team handles the cancellation and the refund.
Vendor Business Hours closes that gap. Each seller keeps a weekly schedule, and the storefront follows it for availability, cart access, and ordering.
One open time and one close time sit on each day row, so a shop trading short hours on Saturday sets that day on its own.
Also, if you want shoppers to browse sellers by category and by name, you can check our add-on CS-Cart Advanced Vendor List.
CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours Use Cases
-
Local Grocery Sellers
A grocery shop takes orders only while staff are on the floor, and the storefront closes it after that.
-
Restaurant And Food Sellers
Kitchens sell during lunch and dinner hours. Orders stop outside those hours, so no food order waits overnight.
-
Weekend Only Sellers
Part-time sellers open on Saturday and Sunday. Their weekly schedule keeps the other five days closed.
-
Sellers In Other Regions
Shops working in different office hours set those hours, and shoppers read the next opening time instead of a silent store.
-
Made To Order Sellers
Sellers who prepare each item by hand accept orders in set hours and keep the catalog on view all day.
-
Large Seller Networks
Admins running many shops keep every timetable in one place and edit any marketplace vendor schedule from the backend.
Weekly Business Hours Schedule
Weekly Business Hours Schedule holds the operating times of a seller. Every day of the week carries its own opening time and closing time.
Shops trading on a different timetable each day fill each row separately, so the schedule matches how that business runs.
If you also collect extra seller details at signup, check CS-Cart Vendor Custom Registration.
- Set an opening time and a closing time for each day of the week.
- Keep different operating hours on different days.
- Manage all seven days from one weekly schedule screen.
- Save the timetable against the seller it belongs to.
- Use the saved schedule as the source for every availability check.

Automatic Vendor Availability
Automatic Vendor Availability comes from the saved business hours. The add-on compares today and the clock with the timetable of that seller.
Nobody switches a shop on or off by hand, and the status flips on its own once the closing time passes.
- Read today and the clock on every availability check.
- Match both values against the weekly business hours of the seller.
- Mark a store open inside its configured hours.
- Mark a store closed outside its configured hours.
- Refresh the status as the day and the time move on.

Store Closed Message And Next Opening Time
A closed shop never sits unexplained. Your storefront shows an availability message plus the time that seller opens next.
Message text stays configurable, so a marketplace can use Store Closed or wording suited to its sellers.
To answer common seller queries in one place, check CS-Cart Multi Vendor FAQ.
- Show an availability message while the seller stays unavailable.
- Use Store Closed or another custom message.
- Show the next available time of that seller.
- Read the next opening time from the weekly business schedule.
- Tell shoppers when they can order instead of leaving them guessing.

Add To Cart And Order Restriction
Ordering stops when a seller is closed. Your catalog stays on view, and the add to cart restriction holds back only the buying step.
Shoppers keep browsing and return at the opening time, so a shop loses no catalog exposure while it is shut.
For stock held across several locations, check CS-Cart Warehouse Management System.
- Block add to cart for products of an unavailable seller.
- Stop orders for products that belong to a closed shop.
- Keep the products of a closed seller visible to shoppers.
- Let shoppers open the vendor profile page during closed hours.
- Let shoppers open product detail pages during closed hours.

Availability On Seller And Product Pages
Shoppers read the status where they decide to buy. Both the vendor profile page and the product pages carry seller availability.
Someone reading a product page learns the shop is closed before reaching the cart, which cuts failed attempts.
- Show availability on the vendor profile page of the seller.
- Show availability on every product page linked to that seller.
- State clearly when a shop is unavailable.
- Place the business hours information beside the seller details.
- Keep one status wherever the seller appears.

Seller And Admin Schedule Management
Both sides manage the hours. A seller edits its own weekly timetable, and admins keep control over every shop in the marketplace.
If your sellers also update store data from a phone, you can check CS-Cart Vendor App.
- Let sellers set their own weekly business hours.
- Let sellers change availability settings when trading hours move.
- Let admins view the business hours of any shop.
- Let admins edit any marketplace vendor schedule from the backend.
- Keep admin control over availability configuration.
