    Enhanced Customer Profile for Magento 2: This module allows the store owners to control the user profiles that are purchasing products from their stores. The store merchants can now easily manage the customer profile from their end. The store admin can now have a facility to restrict the purchase of the customers based on previous purchases, poor ratings, and feedback, excessively unreasonable returns, etc.

    With the help of this module, the store admin can block, and unblock the customer purchase as per the purchase records. The store admin can set the duration for unblocking so that the purchase can not be affected whenever the customer got the average rating.

    Why Do We Need Enhanced Customer Profile for Magento 2?

    If you have a Magento 2 e-commerce website and you want to control and manage the inappropriate purchase from any customer then this module would be advantageous for you. By using the Magento 2 Customer Profile extension the store merchants can block and unblock the customer purchase as per the average profile ratings.

    This module helps the website owners to restrict the users for further purchases from their stores. This is useful to maintain the sales and purchase management from the store as well.

    The store merchant can make the general settings in the module as mentioned below:

    • Select the display ratings on the customer profile as yes to configure.
    • Enter the email address of the admin.
    • Enter the blocked purchase comment.
    • Set the duration in days between unblocking requests.
    • Select yes if the store owner wants to enable auto-block for customer purchase.
    • Enter the average rating for the purchase block.
    • Enable auto-unblock customer purchase.
    • Mention the initial unblock duration.
    • Enable the incremental auto-unblock, and the incremental unblock duration.
    • The store admin can also set the emails for unblocking purchase, block purchase, unblock request, and request denial.

    Purchase Block Set Up at Admin End

    The store owner can make the following configurations in the customer information section from the rating option to block the customer purchase:

    • The store owner will click on the Block Purchase button that appears below the average profile rating.
    • A page will appear to fill in the purchase block details.
    • Here, the store admin has to select the reason to block the purchase.
    • After that, the admin will enter the note for the purchase block.
    • Now, the customer purchase will block and the user will not be able to shop from the store.
    • The admin can find the record of the blocked customers in the customer rating option present in the customer profile section.
    • The admin can block the users on the basis of the previous order history average profile rating and previous block reasons also.

    The average profile ratings can also be added for the customers by the store merchant based on the previous purchase and order history as mentioned below:

    • Click on the Add Rating button present in the top-right corner.
    • That will open a rating details page to add the customer rating.
    • The store owner can provide the ratings by selecting the stars from the rating section.
    • Select the order ID from the dropdown for which you want to add the rating.
    • Add the summary for the order rating.
    • At the last, the admin can add the description or feedback with the rating.
    • These ratings will be visible to the admin at the Rating option in the customer information.

    User Unblock Request

    The user or customer can send an unblock request to the admin to unblock the purchase from the My Account section.

    • The user has an option in the My rating section to request unblocking.
    • By clicking on the Request Unblock button the customer can send an unblock request to the admin.
    • When the user clicks on the button a pop-up will display to add a note along with the unblock request.
    • This unblock request will be displayed to the admin in the Unblock Request section.
    • The store admin receives an email for the request.
    • In case of request acceptance, the Unblock Request button will disappear.
    • If the store admin denies the request a button with Request Denied will appear with a note.
    • The user can send unblock requests again after a few days according to the set duration.

    Blocked Purchase at Customer End

    In the storefront, the blocked purchase will reflect in the product category page, product page, my wishlist, and product comparison page.

    • The Purchased Blocked button will appear at the place of the add to cart button.
    • If there is any item added to the cart before the purchase was blocked then the user will not be able to purchase and get an error message during checkout.
    • The user can view the order ratings for every order in my ratings option present in his profile.
    • Based on the previous purchase, an average profile rating is provided to the customer.
    • The user receives an email for the block purchase, unblock purchase, and unblock request disapproval.
