Prestashop Marketplace Slot Pricing - Imagine that you visit a local market to shop for clothes. There are a lot of shops in the market, but which are the ones that catch your attention. The shops with attractive sales/deals banners on their windows and entry gates.
The same thing applies to eCommerce. When a customer visits the product page, one of the first things he will notice is the discount he will get on product purchase.
Many online retailers use discounting strategies to attract new customers and increase sales.
By default, Prestashop marketplace does not provide sellers with an option to add multiple discounts to their products. With Prestashop Marketplace Slot Pricing, a seller can give product discounts to users depending on the currency, country, and customer group. Also, the sellers can set particular product combinations, specific dates, and minimum purchase quantity on which they want to provide discounts.
Note: This module is an add-on of marketplace module. To use this module you have to install Prestashop Advanced Multi Vendor Marketplace first.

Workflow of the module
Post-installation, a new option named "Add Slot Price" gets available on the seller's add/update product page. A seller can click on this option to add discount on product based on the following parameters:
- Currency
- Country
- Customer Groups
- Combinations
- Minimum Purchase Quantity
Once added, the seller can edit or delete the slot price.
Sell More With Volume Discounts
Offering volume discounts help marketplace sellers to increase their average order value. Since they will be selling multiple quantities in a single order and each sale means more products sold. Encourage customers to buy more with quantity discounts like 15% off on 5 or more products, save $10 per unit if you buy 3 or more, etc.
Country/Customer Group Specific Discount
Prestashop Marketplace Slot Pricing enables the sellers to offer discounts based on customer groups. For example, 10% off for members of the "wholesale customers" group or a $5 flat discount for the members of the "Retail customers" group. Providing exclusive discounts to the members of a particular customer group will help sellers build loyalty among them.
Also, the sellers can set product discounts for the customers of a particular country. Increase the visibility of products and improve conversions in a specific country by giving special discounts and incentives to its customers.
